The earth was rotating Yet the world stopped Nations fell to their knees Innocent tears dropped The finest instruments Couldn’t predict this storm To this new way of life We are left to conform The virus arrived suddenly But it will not stay Yes, it will leave our world The same way it came Take heart in these times Remind family and friends That anything which begins Will someday come to an end Though the skies are dark And there is still pain We will remain hopeful For the sun will shine again
